Train Travel is one of the most ‘green’ forms of transport. Railchoice have cited an example: ‘ A traveller going to Paris from London on Eurostar generates 10 times less CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) than a person travelling on the same route by air!’ So be kind to the world – if you are needing to travel – ask yourself whether you can make the same journey by rail.
St Austell lies on the main rail link through Cornwall so it has excellent rail links with the rest of the country and the station is located just a short walk from the town centre.
If you want to travel around the St Austell Area there are regular train services to Par, Lostwithiel, Bodmin Parkway and Truro to name just a few of the local stops.
