There are some wonderful outdoor spaces around Camborne to explore. Tuckingmill Valley Park, Carn Brea and Tehidy Country Park are all places where you can enjoy the great outdoors for free. Tehidy Country Park is a former 250 acre estate that once belonged to the Basset family, mining landowners, but now owned by Cornwall Council and free for everyone to enjoy. Tuckingmill Valley Park is a regenerated mining area that contains habitats to encourage wildlife and people too! And Carn Brea stands majestically over the town, a great place from which to view the surrounding landscape all the way to the sea beyond.

If you want to find out more about the history and geology of the area you can visit the museums below for further discovery.
